Messages and chat history between users are stored in our database so conversations can function, remain available in your inbox, support job coordination, and help us review reports or investigate misuse when needed.

Technical and usage information, such as device information, browser type, IP address, log data, pages viewed, search activity, approximate location signals, and cookie or similar technology data.

Support and safety information, such as reports, inquiries, moderation history, and communications you send to us.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts, publish job posts, show applications, store and display user chats, support messaging, display profiles, provide ratings and reviews, and operate the marketplace.

We also use information to communicate with users, provide support, improve our services, detect misuse, investigate reports, enforce our Terms, protect safety, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Messaging, reviews, and public content

Information you choose to include in job posts, applications, profile details, reviews, and ratings may be visible to other users or the public depending on the feature.

Chat messages are not public, but they are stored by Beavers at Work and may be visible to the users in the conversation and to authorized service personnel when needed for operation, support, safety, legal compliance, or enforcement.

Do not post banking information, passwords, government identification numbers, private access codes, or other sensitive information in public posts, reviews, applications, or platform messages.

5. Payments and offline arrangements

Beavers at Work does not process payments, escrow funds, guarantee payment, set prices, or manage invoices between users.

Users are encouraged to discuss private details such as quotes, payment terms, phone numbers, addresses, scheduling, and work-specific arrangements offline and to use their own judgment before sharing personal or financial information.

6. When we share information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the website, such as hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, security, and support providers.

We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, to enforce our Terms, to investigate suspected fraud or illegal activity, to protect users or the public, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets.
